This is an unprecedented, data-rich testbed for the applications of technology and connectivity to civic and corporate innovation. Upon completion The Walk will live as the national benchmark for the possibilities of Smart City design. In that capacity it will attract the best and brightest minds in the field for collaborations, residencies, conferences and partnerships that simply won’t exist elsewhere. The Innovation Hub will be ground zero for that culture of cross-pollination.

No single location in the Southeast can rival the activity of the future site for The Walk on Union. Adjacent to the site are many Memphis landmarks, including:
- AutoZone Park – Home to the Memphis Redbirds, AAA affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals
